Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Maxim Khabakhpashev and Yoann Wolf, private individuals based in Switzerland (“Riselo”, “we”, “our”), and govern your use of the Riselo mobile application (the “App”) and any related services.

By creating an account, installing the App, or using any feature, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Riselo.

1. Eligibility and account

You must be at least 16 years old in the European Economic Area / United Kingdom, or 13 years old in the United States, to use Riselo. If you are under the age of majority in your country, you also confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed these Terms.

You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and tell us immediately at Riseloapp@outlook.com if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for all activity on your account.

2. License to use Riselo

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and applicable app-store rules.

You may not: (a) reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code; (b) circumvent paywall or rate-limit mechanisms; (c) resell or sublicense access; (d) use the App to build a competing product; (e) use the App in violation of law.

3. Subscriptions, purchases, payments, cancellations

Plans and pricing

Riselo offers optional paid access, “Riselo Pro”, in three forms: an auto-renewing subscription at CHF 65 per year or CHF 9.99 per month (each with a 7-day free trial), and a Lifetime option at CHF 119 — a single one-time purchase that is not a subscription: it does not renew, and no recurring charges apply. Current plans, prices, and features are displayed in the App and may change with notice.

Billing

• Apple In-App Purchase handles all subscriptions and one-time purchases. Apple charges your Apple ID and Apple’s payment terms apply.

Auto-renewal (subscriptions only)

Yearly and monthly subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time: iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Riselo → Cancel. The Lifetime purchase never renews and requires no cancellation.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s own policies (request via reportaproblem.apple.com).

Price changes

If we change prices, you will receive notice in-app and (where required) by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after the new price is your agreement to it.

4. Free trial

New members get a 7-day free trial of Riselo Pro on the yearly and monthly subscription plans (the Lifetime one-time purchase has no trial — it is charged immediately). Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the trial converts to a paid subscription and your payment method is charged. We send a reminder before the trial ends.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Riselo to harass, abuse, or harm another person.
• Submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, sexual, or infringes others’ rights.
• Submit content involving minors in a sexual or exploitative context.
• Upload viruses, malware, or any harmful code.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, server, or part of the App.
• Use automated means to scrape, mine, or otherwise extract data from the App.
• Use the AI Coach to generate content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

6. Your content

You retain all rights to the content you submit to Riselo (your goals, journal entries, photos, training logs, AI-Coach messages). By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to store, process and display it through our service providers (e.g. Anthropic for AI processing) solely to operate the App for you.

You can delete your content at any time. When you delete your account, we delete your content within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. tax records of subscriptions).

7. AI features

The AI Coach and AI Food Scanner generate responses using Anthropic’s Claude models. AI output is generated probabilistically and:

• Can be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date.
• Should not be relied on as the sole source for any decision affecting your health, finances, relationships, or safety.
• Is provided for educational and motivational purposes only.

You agree not to enter sensitive personal information (financial account numbers, medical record numbers, government IDs) into AI Coach prompts unless absolutely necessary.

8. Health and financial disclaimers

• Not medical advice. Sport, nutrition, sleep, mood and other health features are educational. Consult a qualified clinician before changing your diet, exercise, sleep, or supplementation, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, are recovering from injury, or take medication.
• Allergies. The allergen filter is heuristic. Always verify ingredients yourself for every recipe and product if you have a medical allergy. We accept no responsibility for ingredient mismatches in third-party data.
• Not financial advice. Business and money-related lessons are educational and based on general principles. They are not investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice.
• Use your judgment. If you experience pain, dizziness, or any unusual symptoms during a workout or while following any guidance from the App, stop and consult a professional.

9. Intellectual property

All Riselo software, designs, text, graphics, marks, logos, and the original lessons, recipes, and program structures are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of those rights to you.

The mark “Riselo” and the Riselo logo are trademarks. You may not use them without our prior written consent.

10. Third-party services

Riselo integrates with services such as Apple HealthKit, Firebase, Anthropic, and RevenueCat. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you use those features. We are not responsible for the conduct of third parties.

11. Disclaimers

Riselo is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Some jurisdictions do not allow disclaimers of implied warranties, in which case the disclaimers above apply only to the extent permitted by law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Riselo and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App.

Our aggregate liability for direct damages will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid Riselo in the 12 months preceding the event, or (b) CHF 50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Riselo harmless from any claims, damages, or costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the App, or your violation of any law or rights of a third party.

14. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, abuse our service providers, or create risk for us or other users. We will give notice where reasonable. You may terminate your account at any time from inside the App (Profile → Manage Profile → Delete Account) or by emailing us.

Upon termination, your license to use Riselo ends. Sections that by their nature should survive (Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, IP, Governing Law) will survive.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Switzerland, except where mandatory consumer-protection law requires otherwise.

If you are an EU consumer, this clause does not deprive you of any protection granted by the laws of your country of residence.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When changes are material, we will notify you in-app and update the “Effective” date. Continued use after the change means you accept the new Terms. If you don’t agree, stop using Riselo and delete your account.
